- Eva Gaëlle Green was born in Paris, France, two minutes earlier than her twin sister Joy.
- Through her Swedish-French dentist father, she's the great-granddaughter of French composer Paul Le Flem.
- She made her film debut in Bernardo Betolucci's controversial 2003 movie The Dreamers, alongside Michael Pitt (Boardwalk Empire). The film features explicit sex scenes and full frontal nudity, which Green later admitted "quite shocked" her and left her "speechless".
